Asian Heritage Month Picnic

We are thrilled to invite you to our Asian Heritage Month Picnic, celebrating the rich cultural diversity and traditions of Asia. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, May 25th, from 11 AM to 3 PM at the beautiful Bette Davis Park in Glendale. Join us for a fun-filled day of food, friendship, and cultural exchange that is sure to create lasting memories.


Event Details:


  • Date: Saturday, May 25th
  • Time: 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Location: Bette Davis Park, 1500 Riverside Drive, Glendale, CA 91201 (at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Victory Blvd, across the LA River from Griffith Park)


What to Expect:


  • Potluck Tradition: Please bring a prepared entrée or dish to share with others. Make sure you bring enough to feed 4 to 6 people, and have any meats or fresh fruits cut prior to arrival. Unfortunately, there are no cooking facilities on the grounds.
  • Beverages: A/PGF will provide a selection of soft drinks and water to quench our thirst as we socialize in the park.
  • Open Invitation: This picnic is open to everyone! Come meet our members and make new friends. We also extend an invitation to our sister Gay Asian organizations to join us for this festive occasion.
  • Asian Heritage Month: Let’s celebrate the contributions and achievements of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. It’s an opportunity to recognize and honor the rich cultural heritage of our diverse communities and raise awareness about the challenges and opportunities we face.
  • Bring Along: Don’t forget your sunglasses, sun lotion, and chairs or blankets to relax on. It’s going to be a day full of socializing, fun, and games.
