Dear APGF Members and Friends,
Last night's Annual Dinner was a wonderful celebration for our family with new faces and homecoming for many. It also ushered in a new tradition of unveiling an annual video paying homage to all the fun and wonderful events we have had the following year. You may re-watch it here. So, as our year progresses, you may now submit your favorite photos and/or video clips for consideration for next year's video
Our organization's strength lies in the dedication of our members. Last night's Celebration was no exception, from the invitation design work by our tireless Webmaster, to all the volunteers who helped make last night's event a success. The President's Award was given to Rokas Oginskis for years of service as our Treasurer. The Award for APGF's Film Series for Best Movie was accepted by its Director, Dylan Chow for Zoomers. The In Memoriam segment of our annual video was everyone's favorite. One of our members was "knighted" on stage on his knees by our British comic.
Last night was a much-needed celebration at a time when the very foundation of our democracy is under threat. I challenge all of you to take your anger out and march with the rest of us at this summer's Pride Parade in West Hollywood on Sunday, June 1st. Our delegation this year will be charged with energetic protect against MAGA and its perpetrators. Start creating your protest signs now. Invite all your friends who need to get out there and have their anger released loudly, rather than sitting depressed day after day listening to the daily humiliation America is experiencing. RSVP me now at: rummelbautista@aol.com. We expect to have close to a hundred marchers joining APGF in defiance.
TOGETHER, our voices will be LOUD AND CLEAR - The Constitution will not be ignored
