Passing of Fred Bradford

Dear A/PGF Community,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of our beloved members, Fred Bradford, on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

Fred was not just a member of A/PGF; he was an integral part of our community and a true pillar of support. His dedication to our organization was evident through the years, as he tirelessly served on the Board of Directors and played a crucial role in the planning and execution of various events. Fred was one of the first individuals to join our organization.

Many of you will remember Fred as the welcoming face at our annual dinners, where he, alongside his partner, An Tieu, could always be found at the door, warmly greeting and checking in attendees. His commitment to ensuring the success of our gatherings was unparalleled, and his presence became synonymous with the positive spirit of our community.

As some of you may know, Fred's health had prevented him from actively participating in recent events, but his impact and legacy endure. His passion for fostering connections and creating memorable experiences for our members will forever be remembered. An and Fred's yearly yard sales (donations from APGF members) brought in an enormous amount of money for A/PGF. As a team, their good cop/bad cop routine during those bartering times was always a source of unbridled comedy.

It is important to note that, as per Fred's request, there will be no funeral services. We respect and honor his wishes in this regard.

We extend our deepest condolences to Fred's family and friends during this difficult time. A/PGF has lost not only a member but a dear friend. Fred will be greatly missed, but his contributions to our community will be remembered and celebrated for years to come.

Condolences can be sent to his partner, An Tieu, at: attieu@gmail.com.

Let us come together to support one another as we remember and celebrate the life of a remarkable individual.

Sincerely,

Rummel Mor Bautista
President, A/PGF
