Hiking -  Lake Balboa Park

Saturday, October 12th at 10 AM

Get ready for an adventure! We’re hitting the stunning trails around Lake Balboa in the vibrant San Fernando Valley, and you’re invited! This easy hike promises picturesque views and a chance to connect with nature—all while being surrounded by fellow park-goers and families enjoying the day.


🚶‍♂️ Hike Highlights:

  • Level: Easy
  • Path: Mostly paved with a fun detour off the beaten path!
  • Distance: 2.3 miles (about 1 hour of pure enjoyment!)
  • Elevation Gain/Loss: Less than 100 ft—perfect for all skill levels!

  • When: Saturday, October 12th, starting at 10 AM (please arrive a bit early).
  • Where: Lake Balboa Park, 6300 Balboa Blvd, Encino CA 91316


🚗 Parking Info: Park near the boat rental area (check the map below for the circled spot) and meet us by the bathrooms nearby. You can enter the park from either direction, but if the lot is full, don’t worry—there are other nearby lots and street parking options!
