SYNOPSIS
Director Starr Wu transplants the 1760 Chinese classic novel Dream of the Red Chamber to modern-day Taipei for the gay drama The Story of the Stone. Wu's feature debut explores gay life in Taiwan with the Red House Theatre area of Taipei's Ximending district as the backdrop.

The location for September will be at 1592 Fair Park Ave, Los Angeles 90041 (Eagle Rock, not far from Occidental College)
PLEASE NOTE: September's movie will be viewed outdoors so appropriate clothing should be worn if it looks like it will be a cool evening.
The potluck will start at 6:30 PM with time to eat and socialize. The movie will begin around 7:30 PM. Desserts will be served after the movie.
REMEMBER: This is a POTLUCK event. Please bring enough of food to feed several people.
For those providing food - there is NO charge. For anyone coming without food, admittance will be $10.
